Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal while his compatriot Kishore Jena won silver in the men's javelin throw event at the Asian Games 2023. Chopra achieved this feat with a throw of 88.88m in Hangzhou on October 4. The reigning Olympic champion's first throw was ruled out after a technical error meant that effort was not counted.
