Neeraj Chopra Qualifies for Men’s Javelin Throw Final at Tokyo Olympics 2020

Neeraj Chopra, making his Olympics debut has been tipped by many to win a medal for India and he didn't take long to enter the final, which would be played on Saturday. He finished ahead of Germany's Johannes Vetter, who is the 2017 World Champion, making his performance, the best by an Indian in javelin throw at the Olympics.

Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra qualified for the final of the men's javelin throw event in his very first attempt of 86.65m. He finished top of Group A with this attempt.
