Neeraj Chopra has consecutively finished second in three back-to-back events and is yet to breach the 90 M mark. Anderson Peters was the one to clinch victory in the Diamond League 2024 final.
Not to be for Neeraj Chopra in the Diamond League Brussels 2024 final as he finished in the second place for the third consecutive competition. Neeraj lost to Anderson Peters by an agonizingly close margin of 0.01 CM. Neeraj started well with a 86.82 M throw then bettered it in his third attempt which was 87.86 M. Anderson Peters achieved 87.87 M in his first throw only and never looked back. Neeraj started struggling with his left foot blocking after the third throw and could never recover.
