Talking in an interview Neeraj Chopra expressed his conditions at the Paris Olympics final rounds, especially after Arshad Nadeem’s monstrous 92.977 M throw, which broke the Olympic Games record. Reacting to the same and explaining his mindset during the final rounds, Neeraj Chopra said, "I never thought I couldn't do it... Arshad Nadeem's previous best was at 90.18 metres which he threw at the Commonwealth Games, and my previous best was 89.94 metres” Neeraj went on to mention the physical restrictions he had in the later phases.
