Australia's Mollie O'Callaghan has made history after winning the first individual goal medal at the Olympics and setting a new Olympic record in women's 200m freestyle swimming event at the Paris Olympic Games 2024. World record holder from Ariarne Titmus came second in the same event thus bagging a couple of medals for Australia from the same event. Mollie O'Callaghan beat the mark of 1:53.50 set by Ariarne Titmusat the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
