Manika Batra continued her winning run in the Paris Olympics 2024 as she defeated French opposition Prithika Pavade 4-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7) and with it became the first Indian Table Tennis player to qualify for Olympics Round of 16 in singles. Manika was dominant from the very first game as she continuously ramped her aggression and switched her gameplay to keep Prithika confused till the very end. Despite some small scares in the end, Manika was able to close down the game comfortably and etch her name in history.
