Jyothi Yarraji Awarded Silver Medal By Jury in Women's 100m Hurdles Event at Asian Games 2023 After Review of False Start

Jyothi was initially not allowed to run by the organisers but under appeal she was allowed after which she won Bronze medal. Upon review she was awarded the silver medal.

It has confirmed after review by the jury as the Chinese Gold Medal winner Wu Yanni has been disqualified and Jyothi Yarraji who was initially tagged along with her as disqualified and allowed to run on appeal, was upgraded to a silver medal by the organising committee.  Lin Yuwei, who won silver was awarded the gold medal and Yumi Tanaka of Japan got the bronze medal.
