Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce surprisingly pulled out of the Women's 100m Semifinals at Paris Olympics 2024 with the reason being unknown. The 37-year-old, who was set to be gunning for a fifth consecutive medal at the event, was earlier reportedly denied entry into the warm-up area. In a video which has gone viral on social media, the sprint legend was seen talking about a rule change which led to the development. "How can you change the rule and then not say? So you’re asking all athletes who, for whatever reason don’t stay at the village, they can’t come through the gate," she was heard saying in the video. Later, it was seen that there was a 'DNS' (Did Not Start) next to her name in the start list.
