In the final of the event, USA won the gold medal with France and Great Britain winning silver and bronze medals respectively. The four had earlier broken the previous Asian record--2.59.51 seconds, which was Japan held.
The Indian men's 4x400m relay team settled for a fifth-place finish in the World Athletics Championships 2023 final in Budapest 2023. The team, comprising Anas Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal Variyathodi and Rajesh Ramesh had earlier broken the Asian record, clocking 2:59:05 seconds to book a spot in the final round of the event. Even though they could not secure a podium finish, the highly talented four athletes can be super proud of their effort in Budapest 2023.
