India have established themselves as a top contender for a medal after beating China in round 10 of the women's section at the Chess Olympiad 2024 on September 21. Harika Dronavalli played out a draw against China's Zhu Jiner and so did Vaishali and Guo Qi. However, Divya Deshmukh beat Ni Shiqun and Vantika Agrawal then drew with Lu Miaoyi to help India defeat China. India thus beat China 2.5-1.5.
