The voting process was held on Saturday where India reportedly received 75 'yes' votes. This would mean that India would be hosting an IOC session after 40 years. It is quite a significant development as this could help India pitch to host future Olympics and Paralympic Games.
In what can be termed as a historic development, Mumbai is set to host the 2023 session of the International Olympic Committee.
