The Paris Olympics 2024 is officially set to commence from Saturday, July 27 and Indian athletes will be action from Day 1 of the games. India will kickstart their Paris Olympics campaign with the Shooting events. Ramita Jindal-Arjun Babuta, Elavenil Valerivan-Sandeep Singh will be in action in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team qualification. Subject to qualification, they will feature in the Gold and Bronze medal matches later in the afternoon. Arjun Singh Cheema, Sarabjot Singh will feature in the 10m Air Pistol Men’s qualification event and Manu Bhaker, Rhythm Sangwan will feature in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s qualification. India Hockey team will also be in action as they will take on New Zealand. Preeti Pawar will commence her journey in Women’s 54kg Prelims as well. Badminton group stage matches will start featuring Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty and Tanisha Crasto-Ashwini Ponappa. Men’s Single Sculls Heats will see Balraj Panwar start his campaign. Harmeet Singh will be in action in Men's Singles Table Tennis.
