India finished the day with 3 medals including one gold which takes their medal tally to 25 at the end of September 28. They will be in action for a lot of medal events on September 29. Shooting team, which is been a consistent source for medals in India, will again be in action in the 10m air pistol event and men's three position rifle event. The athletics team will begin their campaign in the race walk event. Women's hammer throw and shotput finals are also scheduled. Men's and women's squash team will be in action for medals too.  Nikhat Zareen will also fight for a semifinal spot. Women's hockey team, Chess team, Basketball team, Golf team and Badminton will also take field. Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles teams will also compete for medal.
