While this itself is a big achievement, India's shooters, with this, have now achieved their best medal haul in a single edition of the Asian Games. The previous best medal haul from India's shooting contingent was 14, which came way back in the Doha edition in 2006. India got to the 15-medal mark in shooting with the men's 50m rifle 3p team winning gold and women's 10m air pistol team bagging a silver medal.
