Hokato Hotozhe Sema won the bronze medal in the Men's Shot Put F57 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on Friday, September 6. The 40-year-old para-athlete secured a podium finish with a 14.65 M effort. With this bronze, India's medal tally has increased to 27 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. This was also India's 12th bronze medal at the Summer Paralympic Games this year. Soman Rana, the other Indian competing at this event, finished fifth with his best effort being that of 14.07m. Iran's Yasin Khosravi won the gold medal in this event while Brazil's Thiago Paulino dos Santos bagged the silver medal.
