The India national hockey team registered a brilliant victory against Pakistan in the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 match being played at the Moqi Training Base in Holinquir, China. The Indian team went down with 0-1 when Pakistan's Ahmad Nadeem scored a goal in the first quarter. However, India were soon able to level the score with skipper Harmanpreet Singh's drag flick. The defending champions extended the lead once again as it was Harmanpreet once again scoring a goal for India. The Indian team maintained its lead till the end of the match and at the end won by match by 2-1.
