The meeting happened at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and was also attended by sporting vice-president Rafa Yuste, director of sport Anderson Luís de Souza, Deco, Xavi, Òscar Hernández and Sergio Alegre.
Despite promising to show faith on him just a few days earlier, Barcelona president Juan Laporta has taken a complete U-turn and now Xavi Hernandez is sacked from the position of head coach of Barcelona. Earlier, Xavi confirmed not to continue after the summer of 2023-24 but later agreed to stay on.
