The 34-year-old Belgian footballing star, who made his international debut in May 2009, announced his decision on Monday. The footballer, who has made 127 international appearances, took to social media and said, “As a little boy, I dreamed of playing for the national team. I am very grateful and proud that this dream has become a reality. ​I can look back, 14 years later, on 127 international matches, 3 World Cups, 2 European Championships and countless beautiful memories.
