Rodri has won the Ballon d'Or 2024 award at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris on October 29. The midfielder had a stellar season and played an instrumental role in the Spain national football team winning the UEFA Euro 2024 title, beating England in the final in Germany. The defensive midfielder had also starred with a stellar show for Manchester City, helping the club win a fourth consecutive Premier League title. Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr was also one of the favourites to win the Ballon d'Or but the Spain midfielder beat him to the honour.
