Before kick-off in the clash between Real Madrid and AC Milan, the Santiago Bernabéu paid an emotional tribute to the victims of the DANA storm. Valencian community flag was held in the stands and also a minute’s silence was held before the match. Players from both teams wore black armbands on t-shirts that had the message: “Todos somos Valencia” (We are all Valencia) in Spanish and Italian printed on it. The 360º video scoreboard also displayed the message “We are all Valencia. May they rest in peace.” Real Madrid’s league match against Valencia was cancelled due to a storm.
