Pele, who was in the hospital due to a colon surgery, took to Instagram to share his wishes for the six-time Ballon d'Or winner. He also apologised for being late and also wished him good luck at PSG alongside 'friends' Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Brazil football legend Pele on Saturday, congratulated Lionel Messi for breaking his record to become South America's highest goal-scorer in international football. Messi earlier this month, broke Pele's record of 77 goals as he netted his 77th, 78th and 79th international goals against Bolivia in a FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifier match in Buenos Aires.
