Paul Pogba is one of the technically gifted players who helped the France National Football Team win the 2018 FIFA World Cup. But he was in the news for the wrong reason – his connection with drugs. Pogba was provisionally suspended in September 2023 for four years after testing positive a month earlier for dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA); the 31-year-old had been set to not play football until August 2027. HE appealed in CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) and won the battle getting the ban reduced to 18 months. With this, Pogba can now join the Juventus side in January 2025 for practice and play competitive matches from March 2025.
