Jose Mourinho made the news once again as he forced his team, Roma, to play with 10 men during a pre-season friendly match against Partizani Tirana. Mourinho, in the 79th minute, withdrew Houssem Aouar from the pitch without naming a replacement for him thus leaving Roma to play with only 10 men for the remainder of the match. The midfielder was confused by Mourinho's decision. However, a report in Corriere dello Sport stated that the Portuguese coach did this for two reasons--to protect his new signing ahead of the season. Second, he did this to ensure both teams had 10 players on the pitch.
