The defeat against Japan in the International friendly takes its toll as Hansi Flick receives the sack from DFB. Rudi Voller to takeover as Interim manager until a new coach is appointed to replace Flick.

German Football Federation relieves Hansi Flick off his duties as the head coach of the Germany National Football team after a string of poor results including the 1-4 defeat against Japan on September 10,2023. Flick tookover from Joachim Low after Euro 2021 but the fortunes didn't change with Germany getting knocked ot of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Now things get further worse and with the Euro 2024 approaching fast, DFB makes their move. Rudi Voller to takeover as Interim manager until a new coach is appointed to replace Flick.
