The incident happened in the 75th minute of the match when goalkeeper and captain Gurpreet Singh Sandhu saved a header from Aymen and the ball subsequently went out of play. However, the referee did not blow his whistle and Qatar's Al Hassan brought the ball back into play with Aymen putting it into the Indian net.
