The 17-year-old came off the bench against Athletic with 11 minutes remaining in regular time. He made a terrific move down the inside-left channel receiving the ball from Joao Felix and after a brilliant first touch, Guiu slotted it home beyond Unai Simon. Guiu's goal and his entry onto the pitch happened in just 30 seconds. Having only made two complete appearances for Barcelona B before, the youth player was an unexpected addition to the bench for the game.
