Drew McIntyre Won the Money in the Bank event and tried to cash in hours later with the Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins match nearing its end. But CM Punk intervened and cost the Scottish star his shot at the title. McIntyre lost the contract hours after winning it.
Drew McIntyre stood tall in the six-man ladder match for the Money in the Bank contest. In nearly an hour-long match between the star and five other WWE Wrestlers - Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Jey Uso vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes in the Money in the Bank 2024 PPV (Pay Per View) event, the Scottish warrior hit Jey in the face with a ladder, then connected with a Claymore Kick on him to claim the title off the ladder. But hours later he chose to cash in the contract during the Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins World Heavyweight Championship match as CM Punk intervened and attacked McIntyre. Priest delivered South of Heaven on McIntyre to retain the title. In the women’s division, Tiffany Stratton wins Money in the Bank by retrieving the briefcase other matches the newly formed bloodline defeated Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.
