India's success run at the track and field events continue as this time they secure double podium finish in the Paris Paralympics 2024 men's club throw event. Dharambir Nain won the gold medal extending India's gold medal tally to five while Pranav Soorma secured the silver medal. Dharamvir's best throw was 34.93 M, an area record while Pranav's best throw was 34.59 M. They took the lead early and held on to it till the end securing two more medals for India. Amit Saroha had a rather bad outing and he finished in the last position. This is India's first gold silver double in the Para-Athletics at Paralympics. This is also the first gold medal in Club throw event for India.
