Yuzvendra Chahal is claimed to be in a  drunken state by fans after a video of him and Ashish Nehra went viral on social media. The Indian cricketer seemed to be at a party with his wife Dhanashree Verma and some friends and fans think that he had one too many drinks. There was also an instance of Gujarat Titans' head coach Ashish Nehra calling Chahal to come into the bus with him. “Abe tu idhar bus mein aa (come with me on the bus)”, Nehra said to Chahal following the leg-spinner replied that he doesn't want to go on the bus. The Rajasthan Royals spinner further asks“Biwi ko kaha chor du main (How can I leave my wife alone)" to which Nehra responds, "Biwi bhi aayegi humare saath bus mein (she will also come with us on the bus).”
