Search-giants Google recently released its series of promotional videos titled "Googlies on Google" where a girl asks her co-passenger in flight about the national team Rahul Dravid represented in 2003. The co-passenger confidently answered 'India' but it wasn't the correct answer. Later, he found out on google for which team Dravid played for in June 2003. The answer was not revealed by the Google advertisements and that led the fans wondering what the real answer was. In reality, Dravid represented the Scotland National Cricket Team in the England's domestic one-day cup in 2003. The offer was brought to him by the then India head coach John Wright during an extended off season for Team India. It was reported Dravid's £45,000 contract was funded by the NRIs who raised money through special events. The contract for Dravid was to feature in 14 One-Day games for Scotland. However, in his 11 appearances for the Scotland side, Dravid amassed 600 runs at an average of 66.66 and strike rate of 92.73. Rahul Dravid’s Younger Son Anvay Dravid Included in Karnataka’s Probables for U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy 2024–25.
