Indian Men's Cricket team went to the Asian Games 2023 with the hopes of delivering a gold medal for the nation and they have done exactly that when the final against Afghanistan got washed out due to rain and due to higher seeding India were awarded a gold medal. India defeated Nepal in the quarterfinal and Bangladesh in the semifinal to make it to the final. This is Indian Men's Cricket teams first gold medal at the Asian Games and fans celebrated their victory on social media.
