Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were involved in a long chat with the umpires after bad light led to play being stopped on Day 4 of IND vs NZ 1st Test 2024 on October 19. Dark clouds started forming over the M Chinnaswamy Stadium after four balls were bowled into the fourth innings when the umpires felt that the light was not sufficient enough for play to continue. India however, were not willing to walk off immediately with Rohit Sharma and later Virat Kohli trying to reason with the umpire, most likely asking him to allow the over to be completed. But that did not prove to be of any use as the players and umpires had to walk off the field. Later, the rain came down heavily which led to stumps being called.  Sarfaraz Khan Receives Standing Ovation From Indian Cricket Team Dressing Room After Scoring Maiden International Hundred During IND vs NZ 1st Test 2024 (Watch Video).
