Indian batsman Virat Kohli was seen calling Indian captain Rohit Sharma at front during the victory parade in Mumbai for celebrating Team India's T20 World Cup 2024 win. Both players lifted the trophy together and were pumped once again. Virat and Rohit retired from the T20Is after the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa.

The whole 140 billion population of India have been in the celebration mode ever since the Indian team has won the T20 World Cup 2024. The Rohit Sharma led side defeated South Africa by seven runs to lift the title for the second time. The Indian team arrived home on Thursday morning and participated in a victory parade in Mumbai's Marine Drive to celebrate the team's win. It was an open bus containing all the Indian players surrounded by thousands of people on the roads of Mumbai. Every player including Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and others were mesmerised seeing the craze of the fans. During the whole celebration, Indian captain Rohit Sharma took the back seat and let the other player celebrate at front. However, Virat Kohli made way for him on the bus and brought him in front. Kohli asked BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla to move aside and make way for him.
