The Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground has been a talking point with there being no play possible so far on both Day 1 and Day 2 of the historic Afghanistan vs New Zealand Test match. Amid reports which have surfaced claiming that the stadium lacks basic facilities, pictures have emerged on social media which claim that utensils were being washed in the toilet. The viral pictures, shared by journalist Nitin K Srivastav, show a member of the catering team at the venue washing a bowl in the basin of a toilet which is located right next to a urinal and this further adds to the controversy surrounding the venue. Earlier, members of the ground staff had to bizarrely dig up parts of the outfield and cover them with grass to dry up the wet patches.
