USA pulled off a victory that would be remembered for the ages to come as they stunned Pakistan in a Super Over in ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on June 6. Defending 19 runs in the Super Over, Indian-origin fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar held his nerve to help the USA national cricket team eke out a five-run run over Pakistan in what will go down as a historic moment in the history of American cricket. Pakistan were behind USA for a good part of the game but looked like heading towards a win courtesy of some good bowling at the death. But USA forced the game to a Super Over with Nitish Kumar hitting a four off the last ball. In the Super Over bowled by Mohammad Amir, Aaron Jones and Harmeet Singh scored 18/0. The USA players and support staff erupted into joyous celebrations on the field after USA clinched this historic win in Dallas.
