Tristan Stubbs pulled off a heroic fielding effort which helped Delhi Capitals beat Gujarat Titans by just four runs in what turned out to be a high-scoring thriller at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 24. This happened in the 19th over, bowled by Rasikh Salam, and the second ball of this over was hit hard by Rashid Khan towards the long-off fence. The ball looked to be headed for a six, but Tristan Stubbs had other ideas in mind. He leapt high and grabbed the ball, and threw it back quickly, realising that he was going over the boundary rope. A third umpire check confirmed that he saved five runs, which was crucial in the end as Delhi Capitals won by four runs!
