India did not have a great day on the field but this effort was a really admirable one from Suryakumar Yadav, who collected the ball at the non-striker's end and flicked it at the stumps. Cameron Green was just looking as if he would free his arms and play some shots and this dismissal was a very timely one from India's perspective.
Suryakumar Yadav pulled off a backhand throw to run out Cameron Green during the India vs Australia 1st ODI in Mohali on September 22. This was after a terrible mix-up between him and Josh Inglis. Green had run off a misfield from KL Rahul behind the stumps and while he was looking to complete a second, Inglis was watching the ball. Ruturaj Gaikwad took the ball and threw to the non-striker's end where Suryakumar collected and threw it at the stumps from close range. Green was not even in the frame as the bails lit up.
