Sunrisers Hyderabad have registered an unwanted record to their name by posting the lowest total in an IPL final as Pat Cummins and co were bowled out for just 113 runs against KKR on Sunday, May 26. Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first, a decision which his batters did not complement at all. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost wickets at regular intervals and did not get a partnership of any significance, as they were bundled out within 18.3 overs. Skipper Pat Cummins was the highest-scorer for SRH with 24 runs off 19 deliveries. Aiden Markram also scored 20 runs. Every KKR bowler got a wicket but Andre Russell's figures were the best - 3/19. Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana also took two wickets each. SRH Post Lowest-Ever Total in IPL Final
113/10, That’s lowest total in IPL final
CSK 125/9 (2013) was the lowest before today’s match. Lowest total batting first was with MI (129/8 in 2017), followed by KKR’s 130/9 in 2022.
Both records have been broken now.
