Sri Lanka keeps getting hit with massive injury blows as this time their captain Dasun Shanaka gets ruled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with injury. Shanaka was ruled out due to a right thigh muscle injury sustained during Sri Lanka’s match against Pakistan on October 10. The injury needs three weeks to recover. Chamika Karunaratne has been named as Shanaka's replacement.
