South Africa Beat India by Seven Wickets in Third Test, Win Three-Match Series 2–1
Defending just 212 runs in the fourth innings was always going to be a difficult task for India and they would have needed lots of early wickets to be able to successfully do so. But South Africa batted well in partnerships and ensured that they got home with a day and a half remaining in the game.
South Africa played brilliant cricket to outplay India and win the third Test match of the series by seven wickets. With this win, they also secured a 2-1 series victory. Keegan Petersen scored a brilliant 82--his highest Test score and after his dismissal, Rassie van der Dussen (41*) and Temba Bavuma (32*) ensured South Africa scored the win relatively comfortably.
