Sourav Ganguly is set to reportedly join protests demanding justice for the Kolkata trainee doctor who was brutally raped and murdered earlier this month. Ganguly had earlier faced a lot of criticism for his controversial comments on the horrifying crime when he appeared to call it a 'stray incident'. But later, he clarified, stating that his comments were misunderstood. As per a report in CNN News 18, the former BCCI president is set to hit the streets along with his wife, Dona Ganguly, in Kolkata on August 21 to protest against the heinous crime. Ganguly had earlier also changed his profile picture on social media to black to express solidarity with the protestors who have been calling for justice for the 31-year-old victim.
