The group claimed that Afridi offered them endorsement and supported their cause of releasing the hostages at their NWFOI vigil in Manchester. However, soon after the photos went viral, Afridi came up with a response and dismissed all the claims and mentioned that he stands with Palestine. However, the pro-Israel group didn't take much time to respond and slammed Afridi for spreading fake news.
