The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have released Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal to participate in the Irani Cup 2024. The three young players were named in the Indian cricket team for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh but missed out on making the playing XI for both the matches. With the IND vs BAN Test Series 2024 just having one day left, the three youngsters were released from the squad to feature in the Irani Cup 2024, which will start on October 1 in Lucknow.
