Earlier on September 2, Yogesh Kathuniya won a second consecutive silver medal at the Paralympic Games when he finished in second place in the Men's Discus Throw F56 event. Later on, Nitesh Kumar won the second gold medal for India at the Paris Paralympics 2024 when he beat Great Britain's Daniel Bethell to clinch the top prize on offer in the Men's Singles SL3 Para-Badminton event. Taking to social media, the Master Blaster wrote, "Nitesh, your victory in the Paralympic badminton final was nothing short of spectacular. You played with such tenacity and grace.
