Rohit Sharma and Tilak Varma were involved in a fun exchange at Eden Gardens, the venue which is slated to host the KKR vs MI showdown in IPL 2024 on May 11. The former Mumbai Indians captain, during the Test series against England earlier this year, had, among other things, made the news for his epic 'garden mein ghumo mat' comment and Rohit, drawing a reference from that, asked Tilak, who was standing on the Eden Gardens outfield, "Chappal mein ghum raha hai. Kya garden mein aya hai kya? " (You are wearing slippers and wandering here and there. Are you in a garden?" The MI youngster subsequently reminded Rohit that they were at the Eden 'Gardens' and the latter stopped before walking off laughing.
