The schedule for the first 21 matches in IPL 2024 was announced on February 22. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the defending champions, are set to face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the season opener on March 22. CSK have been a pretty dominant side in the IPL, winning five titles, the last of which came last year when Dhoni's unit beat Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans in the final. RCB in contrast, did have some good performances but failed to qualify for the playoffs. After the schedule was announced, RCB funny memes and jokes go viral as they are set to take on CSK in the opening match of the tournament.
