Sandeep Lamichhane dropped a cryptic message on social media after Nepal announced its squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on May 1. Lamichhane was handed a jail term for eight years by a Nepal court after he was convicted of raping a minor. The former Nepal captain however, had appealed against his prison sentence and also obtained permission to remain out of jail as his legal proceedings go on. Taking to 'X', Lamichhane posted a 'smiley' emoji.
