Pakistan Test Captain Shan Masood Hits Back at Reporter for His 'Match-Fixing' Claim Ahead of PAK vs BAN Tests, Says 'Kabhi Bhi Kisike Intentions Nahi Question Karunga' (Watch Video)
The Pakistan Test team captain brushed aside all talk of match-fixing inside the current setup. Earlier, a journalist had alleged that Babar Azam was involved in match-fixing after the Pakistan team had a premature exit from T20 World Cup 2024.
Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood did not take too kindly when a reporter came up with a 'match-fixing' query during a press conference. The reporter asked Masood how he would motivate his team in the wake of Arshad Nadeem's Paris Olympics 2024 success while stating that the glory in doing well for the nation far outshines that of anything achieved by match-fixing. The Pakistan captain retorted back saying, "Kabhi bhi kisike intentions nahi question karunga. Ye jo aapne match fixing ka word use kiya, I don't think iss cricket setup mein Pakistan ke iss waqt current players koi bhi aisi cheez hai jo uss taraf ungli uthayegi." (I won't question anyone's intentions. You used the word 'match-fixing', and I don't think that there's anything like that in the current setup and among the players).
