After an embarrassing defeat against Pakistan in the 1st ODI, Afghanistan throw a punch back in the 2nd ODI as they put up a healthy total of 300 runs on the board after batting first. The foundation of the total has been entirely set up openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz (15) and Ibrahim Zadran (80). At one point Afghanistan looked to go well past 300 but lack of a strong finish didn't allow them to. Gurbaz was the star of the show becoming the first Afghan batter to score a century against Pakistan in ODIs.
