Sachin Tendulkar is a name that needs no introduction and the Master Blaster, who has a plethora of records to his name, had scored his maiden international century on this day, in the year 1990. It was against England in a Test match at Old Trafford where Tendulkar, then only 17 years old, reached the three-figure mark for the very first time in international cricket, hitting an unbeaten 119  against England. This knock came off 189 balls and including 17 fours. The match ultimately ended in a draw but it was the start of a very special chapter in Indian as well as world cricket. Tendulkar, as many already know, went on to eventually score 100 centuries in international cricket, becoming the first and only cricketer so far, to do it. Sachin Tendulkar Switches Hands While Batting As He Pays Tribute to Southpaws On International Left-Hander Day, Video Goes Viral.
